Omni Pulse LLC vs Velocity One

By Miles Winger, Co-Founder & CEO, Velocity One · Published 2026-09-01 · Updated 2026-09-01

Omni Pulse LLC and Velocity One both run 1099, commission-only fiber sales teams and both charge on outcomes. Omni Pulse names four carriers (T-Mobile fiber, AT&T Fiber, Brightspeed, Mercury Fiber), says it works in seven states, and leads with deployment speed: an existing bench it can field in days. Velocity One names seven providers and 15 states and leads with evidence: 100+ reps recruited, trained, and deployed, per-rep production benchmarks, and a deployment-level case study, each defined on a public methodology page.

The short answer

Omni Pulse’s pitch is speed and carrier breadth: a trained 1099 bench, no ramp delays, active programs with two of the largest fiber builders in the country plus Brightspeed and Mercury Fiber, and real-time CRM visibility. Those are strong claims for a provider that has already lost a quarter to slow penetration. What Omni Pulse does not publish is any result, any case study, any testimonial, or the size of its bench. Velocity One is a 2026 company and does not have AT&T or T-Mobile on its list. What we do have is measured production across 20+ markets, a case study you can read deployment by deployment, and a training and canvassing platform we built ourselves. The question is whether you need reps this week or a launch you can audit.

Which is better for a fiber provider

Choose Omni Pulse if speed is the whole decision and your program is with a carrier it already serves. A bench that is already trained on the T-Mobile or AT&T offer can plausibly be on doors faster than a vendor that has to brief reps on your product from scratch. Its per-activation basis means you pay for outcomes.

Choose Velocity One if you want to see the machine before you buy it. Our For ISPs page states who supplies what and how we charge. Our technology page shows the training university that gates every rep and the canvassing app that logs every knock. Our case study shows what a launch produced by deployment. We typically have reps on doors within a few weeks of receiving the serviceability file and the offer, not days, because territory cuts and rep briefing come first.

Ask both vendors: How many reps are actually on the bench today, and how many have sold fiber in the last 90 days? What triggers payment? What is in the nightly report? Which of your carriers will take a reference call? What did your last three launches produce per rep per day?

Which is better for a rep

Both vendors engage reps as 1099 independent contractors on commission only, so the comparison is about what each publishes. Omni Pulse’s site addresses reps but does not publish a rate card, pay frequency, or travel terms. Velocity One publishes all three on the compensation page: $200 per order rising by level to $215, $225, $250, and $350+, paid weekly, with flights, lodging, and a rental car covered on blitzes. Omni Pulse’s carrier list includes national names; if you specifically want to sell AT&T or T-Mobile fiber, that is a real difference.
