Professionals, not salesmen.

Most door-to-door companies run a churn model. Hire anyone, burn through a summer, keep whoever survives. The rep gets a few good months and nothing that lasts. We think that is a waste of the best sales training ground there is.

Our goal is different. We want reps who leave a market better than they found it, who can walk into a fiber provider's office and be treated like the professionals they are, and who finish a year with money invested, not just money spent. Selling fiber at the door is a real skill. We train it like one and we pay it like one.

And we want the people who are good at it to keep going. A rep who can produce and can coach should be running a team. A team lead who can launch a market should be running one. A manager who can launch several should be running a region, earning on the production of everyone they built. And a regional manager who has proven all of that should own a dealership of their own, selling on the provider contracts Velocity One already holds. That is leverage, and it is the whole point.

Everything a rep needs to win.

A live map, not a guess

  4. 04

    Travel blitzes

One to two weeks in a new market with the team. Housing is handled, the leaderboard is live, and you learn more in a week than most people do in a season.

    A leadership track

Rookie, team lead, market manager, regional, dealer. People on this team have walked that path in months. Production decides who moves up.

Rep. Team lead. Market manager. Regional manager. Dealer.

Every step is earned on production and on how well you develop the people around you. Nobody waits for a title to open up. You build the team that needs one, and the ladder ends with you owning the business.

Rep

Learn the product, the pitch, and the discipline of a full selling day. Paid per order, uncapped. Your numbers are on the leaderboard from week one, and so is your name when you earn a blitz invite.

Team Lead

Still selling, now with a small team knocking alongside you. You run the huddle, ride along, and coach the funnel. This is where you find out whether you can make other people better.

Market Manager

You own a market: territory, roster, provider relationship, the nightly report. Your income starts to come from the team's production, not only your own. That is the first real leverage.

Regional Manager

Several markets, several managers you developed, and a share of everything they produce. At this level you are building a business inside the business, with the people you brought up.

Dealer

The last step is your own dealership. You own the company, the roster, and the P&L, and you sell under Velocity One's provider contracts instead of spending years earning your own. Our platform, our training, our partners, your business.

How starting a fiber dealership works →

Earn it. Invest it. Keep it.

A big commission month means nothing if it is gone by the next one. We want reps who finish with a financially free future, and we built the program around that.

01

Earn

Uncapped, per-order commission from your first door. Production decides income, in both directions. How pay works →

02

Invest

Committed full-time reps get our structured investment program: a plan for putting field earnings to work so the money keeps growing after the blitz ends.

03

Build

Move up the ladder and earn on the teams you develop, all the way to running your own dealership on Velocity One's provider contracts. Or take what you learned and launch something else with a mentor who already owns a business in your target industry.

Questions reps ask us.

Do I need sales experience to sell fiber with Velocity One?
No. We screen for drive and coachability, then train everything else: the product, the pitch, objections, compliance, and territory craft, followed by two weeks of doors with a team lead next to you.
How are Velocity One reps paid?
Commission per order, uncapped, starting at $200 per order for a rookie and rising by level to $215, $225, and $250, with $30 team overrides for managers and regionals. Across our 2026 blitz deployments reps averaged 3.3 orders per rep per selling day.
Where are Velocity One fiber sales jobs located?
We are currently hiring in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts, and travel blitz teams deploy to new markets across 15 states. Housing is arranged by the company on every blitz.
When do Velocity One reps get paid?
Every Friday. Commission is paid weekly on the orders you wrote, and every payment comes with a line-by-line statement in your rep dashboard showing each order, any override, and any deduction, ending in the amount paid to you.
What is the career path?
Rep, team lead, market manager, regional manager, and dealer, where you own your own dealership on Velocity One provider contracts. Every step is earned on production and on how well you develop the people around you.
What is a travel blitz?
A one to two week deployment in a new fiber market with a hand-picked team, housing handled, and a live leaderboard. It is the fastest way to learn the job and the most common way reps earn their first promotion.
